Postpartum Doula Services
We offer a variety of postpartum services, including day and night postpartum support, 24/7 care, sleep training, and many more. We will ease the life of your family by providing an extra set of hands to care for your newborn, give evidence-based information and help with tasks around the house. This can include things like cooking, cleaning, laundry, and childcare.

Postpartum Support Options
Every family’s needs are unique, which is why we offer flexible postpartum doula support tailored to your schedule. Whether you need daytime help while your partner is at work, overnight care so you can rest, or round-the-clock support during the early weeks, we have an option for you.
Day doula shifts begin with a 4-hour minimum, making it easy to get the support you need during the day. Overnight doula shifts start at 8 hours minimum, giving parents a full night of rest while our doula cares for the baby — feeding, soothing, changing, and tracking sleep and feeding patterns. Families can book support from 1 to 7 nights per week, creating a schedule that fits their lifestyle and budget.
For birth doula clients, our team is on call starting at 37 weeks and available around the clock until your baby arrives. We provide backup doula coverage so you are never left without support.
Newborn Care Services Included
When you work with a Nurturing Hands doula, your newborn care support goes well beyond basic babysitting. Our doulas are trained in evidence-based soothing techniques, newborn feeding support (breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping guidance), gentle diaper care, swaddling, and establishing healthy sleep foundations.
We also handle light household tasks that help your family run smoothly — nutritious meal preparation, baby laundry, tidying the nursery, washing bottles and pump parts, and keeping feeding and changing stations stocked. This comprehensive approach allows you to focus on recovering and bonding with your baby while a trusted professional handles the rest.
Our doulas are trained to recognize newborn feeding cues, sleep readiness signals, and developmental milestones, so they provide age-appropriate care that supports your baby’s growth.
Our Personalized Matching Process
As an agency, Nurturing Hands Doulas offers something a solo doula cannot: a team of certified professionals and a personalized matching process designed to find the perfect fit for your family.
Here is how it works:
1. Free consultation — You share your needs, preferences, and schedule with our team.
2. Personalized matching — We introduce you to doulas whose experience, personality, and approach align with your family’s values.
3. Interview your doulas — You meet your matched doulas and choose the one who feels right.
4. Backup doula assigned — We assign a backup doula so you are never without support, even if your primary doula is unavailable.
This team approach ensures you receive consistent, high-quality care from professionals who know your family’s preferences and routines.
